Windom Area Schools Superintendent Search
The School Board of Windom Area Schools is conducting a search for a new
superintendent. The School Board contracted with the Minnesota School Boards
Association (MSBA) to provide guidance and assist the District with the search.
The School Board met on January 27, 2022 to plan the search. An important part
of the search process is gathering stakeholder input for the Board to consider as it
moves forward in selecting the new superintendent for Windom Area Schools,
and here are two ways you can engage in the beginning phase of this search
process:
SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH SURVEY
A public survey is now available for all stakeholders to fill out beginning January
31, 2022 to February 14, 2022. All responses to the survey are anonymous, and
MSBA will summarize and provide an overview of the responses for presentation
to the School Board.

MSHS/District office. Please complete this survey by midnight on February 14,
2022.
VIRTUAL QUESTION/ANSWER SESSION WITH MSBA
To ensure all district stakeholders have access to accurate information regarding
search processes and expectations, MSBA will host a virtual Q & A with MSBA
session at 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 10. All stakeholders are invited to
attend, and the Zoom link will be available that day on the District website. To
accommodate busy schedules as well as ensure access and transparency, the
session will also be recorded and made available on the District website for the
remainder of the search.
Questions can be submitted anonymously in advance by clicking here. Deadline
for submittal of advance questions is Thursday, February 10 at noon, and
questions may also be submitted anonymously during the session using the chat
box in Zoom.
